Niewiele osób wie, że Sebastian Kawa mógł również pilotować samoloty pasażerskie. Wiele lat temu odbył szkolenia i uzyskał licencję pilota. Jak wspomina nie był to jednak dobry okres na znalezienie pracy, ponieważ kilka linii lotniczych w Polsce kończyło swoją działalność. Tymczasem uwielbia latać samolotami pasażerskimi: „Patrzę na to co dzieje się za oknem i wszystko mnie fascynuje. Oceniam okiem szybownika chmury, zjawiska pogodowe i teren, nad którym lecimy. Każdy lot jest dla mnie pasjonujący, bo zawsze coś innego, niepowtarzalnego dzieje się na niebie. Zachęcam wszystkich do takich obserwacji, a wtedy każdy lot stanie się interesujący i przyjemny”.
